5th Step
After you’ve added the dried thyme, pour in the heavy cream. Simmer for a further two to three minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce reaches the desired consistency and is seasoned appropriately. Salt and pepper should be adjusted to taste.
6th Step
Place the beef pieces that have been seared back into the pan. Ensure that they are evenly covered with the creamy mushroom sauce before serving. Let the mixture cook at a low simmer for a further two to three minutes so that the flavors can combine.
7th Step
Prepare a casserole dish by greasing it with butter and then gently transfer the beef and mushroom mixture into it, being sure to spread it out evenly.
