Instructions
Browning ground beef and ground sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat. When it’s about halfway through the tanning process, toss in the butter, mushrooms and onion. Cook until meat and mushrooms are brown and onions are tender.
Turn the heat on medium low. Add garlic and Marjolijn for 1 minute and stir constantly. Stir in the marinara Season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper. Keep simmering for about 7-10 minutes.
Meanwhile, slice and toast English muffins on a baking sheet covered with tin foil under the grill. Divide the meat mixture evenly on toasted muffins. Top with diced pepperoni and sprinkle with mozzarella; distribute evenly. Place chicken under grill for about 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
