Then mix a handful of bicarbonate of soda with water until you obtain a mixture with the consistency of a gel. Then, apply it to a toothbrush and rub very delicately on the drawer. At this point, leave it to act for 10 minutes and rinse with warm water. The washing machine drawer will be like new!
Sponge trick
Another very effective remedy is the sponge trick. All you have to do is cut an old , soft, unused sponge into several pieces and then soak these pieces in absolute vinegar .
Then, without wringing, place the sponge in the drawer and leave to act for several hours. Finally, remove the sponge, rub off any excess dirt and dry with a soft, clean cloth.
Towel method
Finally, let’s see one last trick that will surprise you with its effectiveness: the towel method . Therefore, choose an old towel that you will no longer have to use, and cut it into small pieces.
Then, wet the pieces of towel with hydrogen peroxide , place them in the detergent drawer and leave to act for a few hours. Finally, scrub with a sponge and rinse with a cloth: goodbye dirt!
This remedy is especially suitable for removing black mold stains , as hydrogen peroxide is a godsend for eliminating mold in the bathroom!
