Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Add butter to a large pot over medium heat.
  3. Once the butter is completely melted, add the flour to the pot.
  4. Stir until butter and flour are completely combined.
  5. Cook the butter and flour mixture for 4 minutes, stirring frequently.
  6. After 4 minutes, pour the condensed beef broth into the pot and whisk well.
  7. Add the heavy cream to the pot and whisk again.
  8. Add the salt, pepper, parsley flakes and Worcestershire sauce and whisk one last time.
  9. Add the frozen meatballs to the pot.
  10. Stir until all of the meatballs are coated in sauce.
  11. Leave the meatballs to simmer for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  12. After 6 minutes, dump the meatball and sauce mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  13. Spread the meatballs out into a single layer.
  14. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the meatballs.
  15. Place the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
  16. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake the casserole until it’s bubbling and the tater tots are browning. 36-40 minutes.
  17. Remove the dish from the oven and leave it to sit for 5 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.
  18. Serve and enjoy!
