1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground turkey (or chicken)
1 medium onion, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef or chicken broth
1 tsp dried thyme
½ tsp dried sage
½ tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground cloves
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp breadcrumbs (optional, for thickening)
