Instructions
1. Make the Roux:
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Once melted, add the flour and whisk continuously for about 1-2 minutes. This forms a roux, which helps thicken the dip.
2. Add the Milk:
Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly to avoid lumps. Continue to whisk until the mixture begins to thicken, which should take about 3-5 minutes.
