Although there are dozens of industrial detergents for cleaning floors , we must never forget that they are full of chemical substances which, although scented, are certainly not good for our health if inhaled. The good news is that it is not necessary to use industrial detergents to have a clean, disinfected and scented floor .
It is possible to use a series of natural ingredients to prepare a detergent that is effective and at the same time completely safe for our health and that of our loved ones. But the detergent recipe that follows allows us to prepare a product that is not only effective in removing dirt, but also perfumes the whole house .
DIY floor cleaner ingredients :
500 ml of water
50 grams of sodium bicarbonate
50 ml of liquid Marseille soap
3 drops of grapefruit essential oil
3 drops of lemon essential oil
3 drops of peppermint essential oil
To prepare the detergent, simply mix all the ingredients together until you obtain a completely homogeneous liquid.
Bicarbonate has an abrasive action which is very useful against dirt and stains. Essential oils, on the other hand, will spread a very pleasant and long-lasting aroma throughout the house.
Using detergent is very simple. If you need to clean kitchen or bathroom surfaces, you can choose whether to spray the detergent directly on them or on a cloth to use for cleaning.
