Prepare Ingredients: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Ensure that the lasagna noodles are cooked, and the chicken is shredded and ready.
Ricotta Mixture: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup of Parmesan, egg, minced garlic, and fresh parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Layering the Lasagna: Begin by spreading a thin layer of Alfredo sauce at the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish. This prevents the noodles from sticking. Next, place 3 lasagna noodles side by side. Spread a portion of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by a layer of shredded chicken. If you’re using spinach or broccoli, sprinkle it evenly. Pour some Alfredo sauce over the top and then sprinkle a good amount of mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a top layer of cheese.
